A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson
February 3, 2023
Five years ago, the sudden disappearance of Andie Bell, a pretty and popular high school senior, left the small town of Fairview in shock. Sal Singh, her boyfriend, committed suicide in the woods four days later, but not before leaving a “confession text” to his father, admitting that he killed Andie. Though there was never a trial, Sal had always been guilty in the eyes of the town. But Pippa Fitz-Amobi (or more commonly referred to as Pip) isn’t so sure. And for her senior capstone project, she decides to prove Sal’s innocence. From uncovering small-town drug scandals to exposing illegal adultery, Pip’s investigation leads down winding roads of ominous, untouched secrets.
Holly Jackson’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was exhilarating! The plot was addicting, each page was better than the next. If you like dark mysteries with plot-twist after plot-twist, I would highly recommend this incredible work of fiction.
