The Boys’ Soccer team faced the nationally-ranked Catholic Bears this Thursday, January 18, and fought diligently!
Despite the goalkeeper Rafael Filogoniocosta’s (11) best efforts, Catholic scored 4 points in the first half. However, the Broncos adjusted their defensive strategy in the second half, and Catholic only managed to score two more points.
While the Broncos did lose this game, it’s important to keep in mind the circumstances of the defeat. The Bears are known for their dominance on the field; no other school has been able to come close to beating them. Considering the level of offense they were playing against, the Broncos did an excellent job defending against the Bears. Great job Broncos!
