This year’s theme was “Here Comes the Boom!” so every dress-up day theme revolved around a different song. On Monday, students could wear pajamas, inspired by Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song.” On Tuesday, students could wear any merch from their favorite sports team, inspired by the song “All Star” by Smash Mouth. Wednesday was inspired by Cher’s song “If I Could Turn Back Time,” and students could wear attire based on a certain decade. Freshmen were 70’s, Sophomores were 50’s, Juniors were 80’s, and Seniors were 90’s. On Thursday, students wore camo, which was inspired by the song “Huntin’, Fishin’, and Lovin’ Every Day” by Luke Brian. And finally, Friday was spirit day, inspired by the song “Here Comes the Boom” from the movie The Longest Yard.
