It’s not very often you see a mercy rule in soccer, but the Lady Broncos delivered a stellar performance to those who were watching on Saturday morning, January 18. Right before the snow made landfall onto Southern Louisiana, the Lady Broncos snowed eight goals past the keeper for the New Orleans Maritime and Military Academy (NOMMA).
The Lady Broncos dominated the game from the opening whistle and never looked back from there.
Emily Maas (12) delivered another clean sheet for the Broncos, while the offense showered the Bulldogs with shot after shot, eventually nailing an 8-0 win. A mercy rule ended the match early.
