On July 2, 2025, the Jurassic series was continued yet again. A new movie called “Jurassic World Rebirth” was released, having a plot that differs from all the other movies previously seen. Instead of being focused on bringing dinosaurs back to life for entertainment, the characters go to the island for a quick job: to get there and get back fast.

While some viewers may watch for nostalgia, some watch for lore. Original actors are returning to star in the film, alongside new and up-and-coming actors. One important new actor, Audrina Miranda, made her debut in Hollywood by playing Issabella Delgato in the film. Miranda’s previous works include her role in “The Phoenix,” and her acting career received a big start with her role in “Jurassic World Rebirth.”
It’s so cool how the movie is set thirty-four years after the original Jurassic Park, especially when the last movie left on a semi-cliffhanger. Throughout the film, my thoughts kept wandering to the dinosaurs that were experimented on. The creatures were abandoned on an island with nobody to take care of them. It is revealed later that the dinosaur’s crossbreeding is a survival strategy.
I found it interesting to see how the dinosaurs interacted with the humanized world around them, adapting and changing their way of life to fit their environment.
A notable crossbreed is “The Mutant”, a stronger and scarier replacement for the T-Rex. This 26 ft tall mixed breed was born with four arms, two of which looked like a human’s and the other two that didn’t.

of a T. rex. It’s able to use its thumbs and sharp claws to grip anything it needs to; its thumbs threw me off at first. For example, in my favorite scene, “The Mutant” picks up a car by hand with no strain or complications. Some of my classmates express their love for Dolores! The creature was taken home by Issabella Delgato once she escaped the island on a boat.
Jonathan Bailey, who played Dr. Henry Loomis, was another reason why I was eager to watch this movie. Previously, I have seen this actor in the shows “Wicked” and “Bridgeton”. His acting career is taking off, so having Jonathan Bailey in so many franchises I love is very cool! The scene where he struggles to accept the mission of going to the island where dinosaurs reside was very funny. He can be seen chewing mint for long periods of time at random times throughout the movie, which makes for a comically awkward atmosphere.
In conclusion, the “Jurassic World Rebirth” movie was very fun to watch. It can have viewers at the edge of their seats, yelling at the screen, and stressing out from suspense. This movie strikes the perfect balance between funny and serious. The way each mixed-breed dinosaur was introduced was perfect. I would recommend this movie to anyone who isn’t easily frightened.
