The ZHS Lady Broncos Volleyball hosted a tough matchup against the Dutchtown High School volleyball squad. While the score was disappointing, the game itself was filled with fast-paced plays and nonstop action that kept the crowd on edge. Balls hitting the ground hard, players killing the ball, and non-stop rallies, it was lit.
Several standout players helped keep the energy alive on the court. Middle hitter Kyleigh Norman racked up seven kills during the match, while Amelia Mitchem dug the ball an impressive eleven times, saving her team from giving up points on multiple occasions.
Senior star Asia Sterling also shined, finishing with five digs and six kills. Her powerful swings electrified the crowd, and every time the ball hit the floor it felt like a thunderous boom echoed through the gym. Despite the loss, the Lady Broncos showed heart, teamwork, and resilience, leaving fans eager to see what they’ll bring to their next game.
