Track and Field Take Home the Gold in Home Invitational

During the Zachary Track Invitationals, many athletes from the Broncos attempted to surpass their personal records and achieve first place. The men’s and women’s teams performed exceptionally well, both winning overall first place in the meet.

Noah McNeely (12) and Marcus Coates (11) won first and third place in the Men’s 800 Meter Dash. They both set personal records of 2:03.32 and 2:04.10. Korria Gordon (12) and Alyssa Major (12) won first and placed second in the Women’s 800 Meter Dash. They also set personal records of their own with 2:29.54 and 2:32.25.

Damien Sprouse (12) and Rylee Deignan (12) both placed first in their respective 1600 Meter Dash while also setting personal records (4:44.93 & 5:55.55).  Caleb Hilton (11), Kevin St. Cyr(9), Jaylen Rogers (12), and Tyler Jackson (10) placed first in the 4×100 Relay with an average time of 42.62 seconds.
