With a starting lineup of Demarcus Collins (11), Mason Newman (11), Ian Edmond (11), Kriston Brooks (12) and Cambren Price (12), the Broncos were ready for jump ball with Mason Newman at the center. As the jump ball was successful for the Broncos, Price attempted a three pointer but missed. Collins got the rebound but wasn’t able to complete the shot. The Broncos took the ball out, and John Curtis stole the ball making a layup to open the scoring 2-0. With a patriots turnover Brooks scored the Broncos first points with a layup. Two free throws from Newman put the Broncos in a 4-2 lead. At the end of the first quarter, the Patriots acquired an 18-11 lead. 6 minutes left in the 2nd quarter; John Curtis maintained the lead of 11 points 23-12. At halftime, the score was 29-23

John Curtis replied with a jump shot to take back the lead 44-43. Price then shot two free throws to put the Broncos back in the lead as the Bronco supporters in the crowd cheered him on. After back-to-back blocks from Price and Brooks, Price took 2 self-free throws due to a technical foul on John Curtis for unsportsmanlike behavior. Making those two free throws, Price put the Broncos in a 3-point lead with the score

c being 47-44 with 6 minutes left in the fourth quarter. A layup and a free throw from Edmond gave the Broncos a 6-point lead just after. The Patriots responded with a clean three pointer bringing the score to 50-47 with the Broncos still maintaining their lead. A layup from Kimmie, miss by the Patriots and another layup from Edmond increased their lead to seven points with 4 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
A steal and slam dunk by Kimmie made the cheerleaders and crowd go crazy with excitement. The Patriots responded with a three, and the score became 56-50 with the Broncos keeping their lead. Kimmie had another dunk after Curtis made a layup with 3 minutes left in an intense game of basketball. A back court violation on the Patriots got the Broncos the ball, and Newman shot one of his two attempted free throws changing the score 59-52. With his third dunk of the night Kimmie put the Broncos in a 9-point lead with about 2 minutes left in the quarter.
The Zachary Broncos ended their big win against the John Curtis Patriots with a block from Price and loud cheers from the crowd.
