There are many places to go to Zachary this summer where you can have a good time. If you have a craving for a sweet treat you could go to Marble Slab Creamery for some tasty ice cream with some flavors being coffee, very yellow marshmallow, blue cotton candy and many more unique flavors. Mix ins can make an ice cream so much better. Butterfingers, Reese’s pieces, M&Ms, mini marshmallows, a variety of nuts etc. Great American Cookie also has exceptional cookies with a good variety.
With classics like snickerdoodle and chocolate chip and special flavors including peanut butter supreme and Chewy Pecan Supreme. Double doozie sandwiches are also available.
A new craze in Zachary has been Seven Brew. The drive-thru coffee shop has many options ranging from coffee to their new edition of lemonade. Before a hot summer day, Blondies, vanilla and caramel breve coffee might sound good either hot or iced. They have many coffee options like sweet and salty, cookie butter and cinnamon roll. In addition, they have lattes, mochas, macchiatos, Breves, Cappuccinos and more coffee options. Not a coffee person but still want energy?
Seven Energy is for you! With more than 5 original combinations, there is a flavor for everyone. They are also available to be iced or frozen with options to add cream, whipped cream, or cold foam. Even though it is a coffee shop, Seven Brew also has other cold options for a summer day. The variety of teas includes different types of green tea, black tea, Paris tea, and more. Other miscellaneous beverages include smoothies, matcha, shakes, and fizz sodas. Lastly, most of the drinks at Seven Brew are customizable to be caffeine-free, have alternative milks, and sugar-free flavors, and many more to make your drink feel like yours.
Freshman Faith Gremillion (9) like Seven Brew because, “Seven Brew has a variety of drinks and flavors, they open early and stay open long hours”. Her go to order is a Cookies and Cream Blondie with a caramel drizzle and cold foam.
An original summer fav is snowballs. Virginia St. Snowballs in Zachary is a great place to
get good snowballs and more. Some of their flavors include cake batter, tigers’ blood, bubble gum, wedding cake, and strawberry cheesecake. They also have the option to include ice cream in the snowball making it a fantastic dessert for summer. Their snowballs are good, but they also have food options too. This includes nachos with cheese, chili, or both, Frito pies and nachos. This is a great place to fulfill your sweet tooth during the summer.
